If you are struggling with your mental health right now, try to remember that it won’t be this way forever. Sure, I know I will always be vulnerable to mental illness and that I need to continue to take care of myself. But, I know that I will always get better. Here are some of the ways that have helped me to make it through the muddle.

What is self care? For me it started with changing the voice in my head that was always so very cruel. I started saying nice things to myself and then started saying them out loud too. I then felt that I deserved a little more time and effort spent on me – doing the things I love and enjoy.
