Deontay Wilder accuses Tyson Fury of cheating in BOTH of their bouts

‘I highly believe you had something hard in your gloves’: Deontay Wilder accuses Tyson Fury of cheating in BOTH of their bouts with ‘egg-weight’ in his glove as Bronze Bomber tells Gypsy King to ‘honour your word’ in taking trilogy bout

  • Deontay Wilder has accused Tyson Fury of cheating in a sensational video
  • The former WBC heavyweight champion lost his crown to Fury last February
  • Wilder, though, says that the Gypsy King cheated in both of their clashes
  • Fury’s team have strongly denied any accusations of cheating in the bouts
  • The Bronze Bomber urged Fury to ‘honour your word’ in taking trilogy bout

Deontay Wilder has sensationally accused Tyson Fury of cheating in their two fights, claiming the Gypsy King loaded his gloves and is now running scared of a trilogy clash.

The Bronze Bomber believes Fury put ‘something the size and shape of an egg-weight’ in his gloves, which left a dent in his head.

He also accused Ricky Hatton, in Fury’s corner for their first clash, of moving the Gypsy King’s gloves mid-fight to reduce the padding around his fists.

Fury demolished the Bronze Bomber to take his WBC heavyweight crown in February this year

Fury took Wilder’s WBC heavyweight title with a stunning stoppage in February, 14 months after they shared a controversial draw in Los Angeles.

‘I saw in the first fight when Ricky Hatton was pulling down your gloves to put your fist in the improper position,’ Wilder said.

‘You tried the same method the second time but this time you scratched flesh out of my ears which caused them to bleed.’

‘It’s impossible for a brand new 10oz glove to bend, to keep a smushed-in form or to have loose space. I highly believe you had something hard in your glove, something the size and the shape of an egg-weight. It’s the reason why the side of my face swelled up in an egg-weight form. And it left a dent in my face as well.’

Wilder alleged that Ricky Hatton ‘pulled down’ Fury’s glove during their first bout in 2018

He claimed that Fury’s gloves were adjusted, causing him to tear his ear in the second fight

‘But in the midst of it all, you still couldn’t keep this king down. You would have had to kill me. In the end it took a c***-in-a-bucket referee and a disloyal trainer (Mark Breland) to throw the towel in just to stop me.’

Wilder then warned Fury ‘payback is coming’, even though the British fighter’s team recently insisted the rematch clause which entitled his rival to a third fight had expired.

Fury is now scheduled to have a homecoming fight on December 5 but Wilder said: ‘It is time for you to be a man and honour your word, instead of trying to weasel out of our agreement. Scared people run but a scary man will break his contract. You coward a** b****.’

Wilder called on his heavyweight rival to ‘honour your word’ and accept a trilogy clash

He added: ‘What is this bulls*** of you fighting Carlos Takam instead of me, you got to be kidding. When you were going through your darkest time, I told you that if you got yourself together I would give you a title shot. Being a man of my word, I gave you the title shot.

‘When that fight was a draw, I told you that I would give you a rematch. You know I was offered more money to fight (Anthony) Joshua than I was getting to fight you. Again being a man of my word, I fought you like I said I would. In the rematch agreement, there was a rematch clause.’

It’s not the first time allegations of this kind have surfaced. Fury’s team have always denied any wrongdoing.

‘This is just a quick video to address all this “foul play” talk from Deontay Wilder and his team,’ Fury said in June in response to previous cheating allegations.

Fury has rubbished the claims made by the Bronze Bomber, labelling them ‘bulls***’

‘I’ve just read an article saying I might have had some “blunt objects” in my gloves. Yeah, two big 19-stone destroyers in each glove. Getting punched in the temple may do that do you.

‘Unless Deontay Wilder’s own trainer Jay Deas was in on the conspiracy as well along with all the Las Vegas Commission guys who never left the room.

‘Jay Deas was in the room while I had my hands wrapped, he examined them. He was in there when I had my gloves put on, examined them, and everybody else was in the room, they don’t leave you.

‘So everybody citing foul play – bulls***. And the next time I’ll put a dent in his boxing career, end it. It’ll be two knockout losses in a row, bye bye forever.’

WILDER STATEMENT IN FULL

‘The bible tells us that silence is golden. But my ears can still hear and my eyes can still see.

The bible also tells us to be swift to hear and slow the speed. You see, what you don’t understand, thief, what you did is what my people deal with all the time. Someone cheating them for providing their greatness into the world. But it’s a burden we cut off only to make us stronger.

I saw in the first fight when Ricky Hatton was pulling down your gloves to put your fist in the improper position. Y’all tried the same method the second time but this time you scratched flesh out of my ears which caused them to bleed.

It’s impossible for a brand new 10oz glove to bend, to keep a smushed-in form or to have loose space. I highly believe you have something hard in your glove, something the size and the shape of an egg-weight. It’s the reason why the side of my face swelled up in an egg-weight form. And it left a dent in my face as well.

But in the midst of it all, you still couldn’t keep this king down. You would have had to kill me. In the end it took a crap-in-a- bucket referee and a disloyal trainer to throw the towel in just to stop me.

Proverb 6:30-31 says: Excuses may be found from a thief who steals because he is starving. But if he is caught, he will have to pay back seven times what he stole, even if he had to sell everything in his house. And payback is coming.’
