Kell Brook insists he is going to ‘leave it all in the ring’ in his bid to unseat Terence Crawford as WBO welterweight world champion later this month.
WBO champion Crawford has established himself as one of the world’s top boxers having gone 36 bouts undefeated, and will now take on Brook in Las Vegas.
The 34-year-old Brit has already claimed he has ‘no problem’ with people labelling him as the underdog for the fight and insists he will ‘make headlines’ by ending his opponent’s reign next month.
Kell Brook insists he will find a way to beat WBO champions Terence Crawford in La Vegas
He will face Crawford on November 14 to challenge him for the WBO world welterweight title
Now speaking in an interview with The Gary Newbon Sports Show on Punching.TV, Brook insists he will follow the gameplan and give everything he has to try and overcome his American rival.
‘I am going out to find a way to win,’ Brook said.
I am going to follow the gameplan that we come up with and I am just going to go out there with my heart on my sleeve and go out for victory.
‘I am going to leave it all in the ring, whatever I have got is going to be left in that ring. I’m going to give it my absolute all to bring that world title back to England’.
Brook last took to the ring in February when he knocked out American Mark DeLuca
The fight will take place behind closed doors once more with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic still being felt around the world.
But Brook is not spending too much time contemplating any psychological advantage he could gain by Crawford not being backed by a home crowd.
‘Having a crowd there or not having a crowd there, I am tunnelled in, I am focused in on what we need to do, and that is to win the WBO world welterweight title.
When I am in that ring and I am looking up at Terence Crawford with the fans cheering or not cheering, I have still got that same job to do.
And now he claims he has the gameplan and determination to get one over American Crawford
It is just me and him in there and it is going to be a ‘pick them’ fight this one because he’s one hell of a fighter and I believe I belong up there as among the best in the world, and I have to go out and show the people watching this fight that I am.
‘Every second of the fight I am going to be tunnelled in, I am going to be focused to produce the win of my life.’
The former IBF welterweight champion, Brook, last took to the ring in February when he knocked out American Mark DeLuca in the seventh round.
However, the ‘Special One’ as not fought at welterweight since his defeat to Errol Spence in 2017.
