Tyson Fury has urged Deontay Wilder to end his silence and commit to a trilogy bout before the end of the year.

Tyson Fury has urged Deontay Wilder to end his silence over the date of their trilogy bout
He tweeted: ‘Where you at mush? The clock is ticking!! I’m not gonna wait for ever!!! There is other bums in the division that I want to eat for breakfast.’
Frank Warren confirmed last week that the Gypsy King will be back in the ring this December, whether in in a US stadium trilogy world heavyweight title defence or a UK homecoming against another behind closed doors.
Warren, The Gypsy King’s British promoter, said: ‘Tyson is the No 1 attraction in world boxing at the moment. By Christmas he will have been kept inactive for 10 months since his spectacular WBC championship victory over Wilder. That can’t go on indefinitely.

Fury celebrates after claiming victory over Wilder in their second match in Las Vegas this year
Coronavirus restrictions could force the trilogy bout to be delayed until next year
‘He’s at his best physically and mentally when he’s busy as a boxer and it’s my responsibility to help keep him in the great shape he is now on both fronts.’
Fury is contractually bound to meet Wilder a third time after their draw and his win. His US promoter Bob Arum plans for that to take place in the new American Football stadium in Las Vegas on December 19.
But the massive budget for that event requires crowd attendance and Arum has said that with coronavirus restrictions on fans showing little sign of easing this year that may have to be pushed back to next February.
Warren added: ‘Tyson cannot be kept idle that long. By hook or by crook he will fight in December. If not Wilder then a decent opponent behind closed doors in the UK.’
