The Holly Holm-Irene Aldana fight night preliminary card finished in spectacular fashion as veteran Carlos Condit bashed his way to his first win inside the Octagon since 2015.
Condit secured a unanimous decision victory over Court McGee after he turned their fight on its head with a single punch.

Condit, trying to end a five-fight losing streak dating back to 2016, struggled in the early exchanges but the contest changed in an instant when he landed a punishing fade-away hook that collected McGee right on the nose.
McGee was dropped to the deck with just one second left in the first round, and was saved from being finished off by the bell.
Replays showed the incredible power of the off-balance right hook that dropped McGee in an instant.
During the break before the second round, McGee was spotted sitting down with a shattered nose.

From there Condit, the former interim welterweight champion, controlled the final two rounds and returned to the winner’s circle via a 30-27 x 3 unanimous judges’ decision.
It was his first win since May, 2015, versus Thiago Alves.
“It’s been a long one. I’ve had some ups and downs,” Condit said while celebrating his win. “Next step forward, whatever it is, keep working, focus on what I’ve got to do. Take care of business.
