Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech has heaped praise on fellow new signings Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, describing the two as “big talents”. Ziyech has only played alongside the £140million pair for a matter of minutes in the Premier League following his arrival from Ajax this summer.
Frank Lampard spent big to improve his attacking options this summer, with Ziyech arriving first for £37.5m.
Werner followed Ziyech through the door after the Blues triggered his £53m release clause, while Havertz cost a whopping £73m – with the deal rising to £90m.
Since their arrival, Chelsea have looked exciting going forward, but still have issues at the back.
After their first five games of the Premier League season, they’ve found the net 13 times – but have conceded nine.

Onlookers believe the squad needs time to gel before they begin firing on all cylinders, with Ziyech still recovering from an injury he picked up in pre-season.
Lampard has juggled his starting XI around in recent weeks as he looks for his best attacking line-up, with Werner and Havertz both playing in different positions across the forward line.
Ziyech made his first league appearance of the season on Saturday, coming on late in Chelsea’s 3-3 draw against Southampton.
But despite his lack of time on the pitch with his fellow big-money arrivals, the 27-year-old insists he’s got a good relationship with the pair.

Ziyech also saved extra praise for Christian Pulisic, who is also recovering from a hamstring injury.
Much is expected of the American youngster this season after his terrific end to the previous campaign, with Lampard set to use him predominantly on the left wing of an attacking three.
And Ziyech described the American as being a “crazy winger”, telling Chelsea fans he was confident of winning trophies with his new side.
He said: “I’ve connected with everybody and they welcomed me from the beginning.

“There are some other new faces so we bring competition, which is good for us to make each other better.
“Kai [Havertz] and Timo [Werner] are two big talents and have already proved it in the past and Christian Pulisic is one of the biggest talents, just a crazy winger!
“It’s really exciting for me to work with them and I can’t wait to be back on the pitch doing our thing together.
“We want to win trophies, perform well and play beautiful football.”
