Chelsea are planning to launch a sensational bid to sign Juventus star Paulo Dybala, according to reports in Italy.
The Argentina forward has fallen out of favour under Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo, with his fitness issues starting to become a problem after failing to make an appearance this season.
And according to Tutto Mercato Web, Frank Lampard’s men are now eyeing a swoop for the 26-year-old, who has just two years left on his contract with the Serie A champions.
Chelsea are reportedly planning a sensational bid to sign Juventus star Paulo Dybala
The Argentine has yet to make an appearance for Juventus this season due to fitness issues
The report adds the Blues failed in their attempts to sign Lautaro Martinez in the summer, with the Inter Milan striker holding out for a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid instead.
But now Chelsea could land a deal for another Serie A star in the form of Dybala, who was left out of the Argentina squad with gastroenteritis this week.
Dybala has struggled with all sorts of physical issues this season and while Pirlo has no doubts about his importance to the side, the fitness problems are becoming an overbearing concern.
Negotiations to extend his deal beyond 2022 have slowed down, and he may yet find himself further down the pecking order with the arrival of former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

Dybala famously came close to joining Tottenham in 2019 before the deal fell apart right at the end, while Manchester United have also been mentioned as suitors in the past.
Juventus are not financially weak despite the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, but Dybala’s market value is a whopping £72million (€80m), a figure which would significantly aid the club.
That fee would be affordable for the likes of Chelsea, who spent more than £240m on transfers in the summer on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
Dybala has not played for the Turin outfit since he pulled up with a muscle injury in a Champions League clash against Lyon back in August.
He is also expected to miss Saturday’s trip to Crotone, with the champions currently sitting fourth in the Serie A table.
