Kai Havertz – Bayer Leverkusen are refusing to give Chelsea a “corona discount” on Kai Havertz and are sticking to their €100m (£90m) asking price. Havertz wants to move to Chelsea but he has an agreement with Leverkusen which means they will only let him go if their valuation is met (Sky Sports, August 17); Chelsea have reportedly agreed a five-year contract with the Bayer Leverkusen forward (The Sun, August 11)

Chelsea’s Marina Granovskaia has given Frank Lampard the ‘green light’ for a triple defender swoop of Ben Chilwell, John Stones and Lewis Dunk (Daily Star, August 18).

Ben Chilwell – Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign the left back from Leicester after a breakthrough in talks (The Times, August 15 and 16); Chelsea could face competition from Manchester United to sign Leicester’s £80m-rated left back this summer (Daily Express, August 14); Chelsea will have to make Chilwell the world’s most expensive defender to prise the star from Leicester (Mirror, August 4); Chilwell will inform Leicester he wants to quit the club and join Chelsea, where Frank Lampard will make him first-choice left back (Mirror, July 29); Chilwell has been identified by Chelsea as the club’s No 1 left-back target this summer (Sky Sports, June 5).

John Stones – Chelsea are ready to move for the Man City defender – even if they sign £40m Brighton defender Lewis Dunk (Mirror, August 17); Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is hoping to snap up Stones in a bargain £20m deal (Mirror, August 9).

Lewis Dunk – Chelsea are closing in on a £40m swoop for Brighton defender, beating rivals Spurs to his signature (The Sun, August 16, 17).

Nicolas Tagliafico – If a move for Chilwell cannot be agreed then another target, Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico, is available for less than half the price (Sky Sports, August 17); Chelsea have expressed an interest in signing Ajax’s Argentina international left back (Sky Sports, August 10).

Ben Foster – The Watford ‘keeper is a shock emergency target for both Chelsea (The Sun, August 16).

Jan Oblak – Chelsea will be forced to look elsewhere in their search for a goalkeeper after Atletico Madrid slapped a £110m price tag on the Slovenian (Mirror, August 15); Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia has opened talks with Oblak’s agent over a transfer (Star, July 29); Manchester United and Chelsea are both keeping tabs on the Atletico goalkeeper, amid the poor form of both clubs’ current stoppers. (The Sun, July 25); Oblak interesting Chelsea “does not surprise” Atletico boss Diego Simeone, who hopes the goalkeeper will stay at the club (July 15).

Declan Rice – West Ham have dismissed reports they have received a £50m bid from Chelsea for Rice (Sky Sports, August 11); West Ham have valued Rice at more than £80m (The Times, August 13)

Houssem Aouar – Lyon sporting director Juninho says midfielder Houssem Aouar could leave this summer with Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus all monitoring the 22-year-old Frenchman (Daily Mail, August 14)

Ben White – Chelsea are planning to hijack Liverpool’s move for Brighton defender White – and ditch Antonio Rudiger in the process (Daily Star, August 9)

Sergio Reguilon – Chelsea are considering the Spaniard as a cheaper alternative to Ben Chilwell at left back (Mail, Aug 7); Chelsea have joined Everton in the race to sign Real Madrid’s Sergio Reguilon, voted “the best left-back in La Liga” last season (Sky Sports, August 3).

Jose Gimenez – Frank Lampard has made Atletico Madrid defender Gimenez his first-choice addition to his side’s defence this summer (Daily Star, August 6).

Dean Henderson – Henderson has told Manchester United chiefs he wants to either be made the team’s first-choice goalkeeper or leave this summer amid interest from Chelsea (Daily Express, August 5); Chelsea are prepared to more than double the Manchester United goalkeeper’s wages to £170,000 a week in a bid to lure him from Old Trafford (Manchester Evening News, July 21).

Xavier Mbuyamba – Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign 18-year-old defender Mbuyamba, who has been dubbed ‘the next Virgil van Dijk’ (Daily Mail, August 5).

Nick Pope – Chelsea are stepping up their efforts to land the Burnley goalkeeper (Daily Star Sunday, August 2).

Willian – Arsenal have completed the signing of Willian on a three-year deal (August 14).

Pedro – Pedro will join Roma on a two-year deal when his Chelsea contract expires.

N’Golo Kante – Inter Milan are plotting an audacious move for the Chelsea midfielder (Sun, August 15); Kante could reportedly be on his way out of the club, with Inter interested. The French midfielder may leave Stamford Bridge for “the right money” (CalcioMercato, July 24); Chelsea are ready to sell the France international to raise funds for extra transfers (Times, June 19); Real Madrid have set their sights on Kante for £71m (AS, June 13).

Tiemoue Bakayoko – AC Milan are in talks over bringing the Chelsea midfielder back to the San Siro (Sky in Italy, August 12); Chelsea are ready to slash their asking price for the unwanted midfielder to £20m (Sun, August 11).

Tiemoue Bakayoko, Emerson Palmieri, Davide Zappacosta, Danny Drinkwater, Michy Batshuayi and Victor Moses have all been made aware that they do not have a future at Stamford Bridge under Frank Lampard (Sky Sports, August 4).

Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen, Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso – Ahead of a shake-up of Chelsea’s defence, Frank Lampard has put several defenders up for sale (The Times, August 4).

Jorginho – The player’s agent has left the door open for the midfielder to join Juventus this summer in a move that could help fund a Chelsea bid for Declan Rice (Telegraph, Aug 7); Lampard could also raise funds by finding a buyer for the Italy midfielder Jorginho (Guardian, August 4).

Callum Hudson-Odoi – Manchester United are considering lining up a shock move for the Chelsea winger, according to reports (The Sun On Sunday, August 2).

Kepa Arrizabalaga – The Spanish goalkeeper is resigned to never playing for Chelsea again with Willy Caballero set to face Arsenal in the FA Cup final on Saturday (The Sun, July 30).
