Manchester United's Edinson Cavani and Facundo Pellistri have been sent a message by Diego Forlan.
Forlan, who is a respected figure at Old Trafford despite his difficult time at the club between 2002 and 2004, has sent his best wishes to his fellow Uruguayans as they prepare to get underway in Manchester.
Cavani left PSG on a free transfer this summer after scoring 200 goals in 301 outings for the Parisiens, while youngster Pellistri joined for a fee in the region of £8m from Penarol.
The pair are set to join their new team-mates following the international break, and will provide a boost to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following their recent loss at home to Tottenham.
"Hi United fans, hope you're doing well. I'm missing you a lot,” Forlan said on Twitter.
“I just want to welcome Facundo Pellestri and Edinson Cavani, two great guys and two professional players.
"Wishing both of them the best and I hope to see you soon. Take care guys."
Cavani, 33, has promised to do his No 7 shirt justice following his free transfer from Ligue 1, while Solskjaer is excited about the potential of 18-year-old Pellistri.
Cavani told the official website: “I feel very happy to have come to this club.
“I feel very motivated and I’m really keen to get started training with my team-mates.
“But the best thing about it is that the club have shown their confidence in me by wanting to bring me in.
“I was really keen to come here. I’m very motivated by the idea of joining this great club.”

With Solskjaer saying of Pellestri: “Our scouts have followed Facundo for a long time and we believe that he will be a real talent for the long term.
“Whilst we understand it will take time for him to adapt to the English game, he is capable of having an impact with his pace and ability to beat his opponent.
“Facundo has the perfect platform at Manchester United to develop and he has all of the technical qualities and the right mentality required to become a top player here.
“We are all looking forward to working with him to fulfil his potential over the coming years.”
