FIFA 21 Title Update 1 released to fix online issue on PS4 and PC

FIFA 21 hasn't yet been officially released worldwide, but EA have just released their first Title Update for the game.

The latest FIFA title from the FIFA gaming franchise has a worldwide release date of October 9, 2020, but players who have pre-ordered the Champions or Ultimate Edition of the game will get three days early access, with those players being able to play FIFA 21 from October 6, 2020.

However players with an EA Play subscription have been able to access a ten-hour trial period of FIFA 21 from October 1, 2020, on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. EA Play, which was previously named EA Access/Origin Access, is a monthly paid subscription service that gives players a number of different perks and discounts, including early access to FIFA 21.

FIFA Ultimate Team players are also able to access the new FUT 21 Web App and the new FUT 21 Companion App, which will allow them to start building their FIFA 21 Ultimate Team squad ready for release day.

But it looks like EA have discovered a very specific online issue, that seems to apply for players on PS4 and PC only at the moment, which EA have addressed in Title Update 1.

Here are the full confirmed patch notes for the FIFA 21 Title Update 1.
