Liverpool fans want to sign Todd Cantwell after he congratulated former England youth team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold on winning the Premier League title last night. The young Norwich star has impressed this season for the Canaries who look certainties for the drop.
That could see Cantwell become available at a cut-price deal and the Reds are among those in contention for his signature.
Liverpool’s recruitment team watched him closely in January’s 1-0 win at Carrow Road.
With Adam Lallana departing on a free transfer, Cantwell could be the perfect addition for Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool supporters began to buzz over a potential transfer after Cantwell sent Alexander-Arnold a message as the Reds were crowned champions.
