Manchester United could sell up to seven players this week and will make a final bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to add the England international to his ranks as he looks to challenge Liverpool for the title.
The Red Devils could see a number of stars leave as well as they look to trim their squad.
Andreas Pereira is in talks with Serie A outfit Lazio and is likely to exit as he is well down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
He could be the first of many who take the same path this week, according to reports.
The Evening Standard claim Ed Woodward and Solskjaer are ready to axe as many as seven players in a busy end to the transfer window.

Joining Pereira in leaving could be Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Diogo Dalot, Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo and Jesse Lingard.
Solskjaer is a fan of Lingard and would like to see him turn things around at the club but there is an acceptance the 27-year-old wants first-team football.
Smalling enjoyed a loan spell with Roma last season and could leave for the same side should an agreement be struck.
Romero is now third-choice under David De Gea and Dean Henderson while Jones, Dalot and Rojo are all well down the pecking order.

Trimming the squad and the wage bill will free up more cash for the signing of Sancho from Dortmund.
Express Sport understands United will make another bid for the 20-year-old this week before next Monday’s transfer deadline.
That’s despite Dortmund demanding upwards fo £100million for their prized asset.
Meanwhile, former United striker Andy Cole has opened up on his side’s pursuit of Sancho and expressed a belief they should use funds to strengthen other areas of their squad.
“Putting Jadon Sancho in that Man United team would not mean they win the league this season, far from it,” Cole told TEAMtalk.
“He is a talented kid, really talented, but he will not change everything for United.

“If you don’t get Sancho and you move on to someone else. You might sign someone who could achieve more than Sancho in the long run.
“Sometimes we get caught up in big names. But the one underneath is just as good even if he has got less of a name.
“Bringing in two or three players with that money might be a more sensible route.”
