Manchester United fans were left begging their club to re-sign Adnan Januzaj as the forward showed off incredible skills with Real Sociedad.

The Belgian started his professional career at Old Trafford, joining the academy in 2011 before making his debut in the 2013/14 season.

With just five goals in 63 appearances, though, he was sent on two loan spells before being signed by the Spanish side in 2017.

He has become a regular for Sociedad, who are now top of the La Liga table after 10 games by three points.

Their latest win came against fellow high-flyers Cadiz – and footage has emerged of the 25-year-old showing he has still got it.

In the clip, the second half is well underway and the score remains 0-0 at the Estadio Ramon de Carranza.

Januzaj takes a bouncing ball under control with his left boot and turns towards the centre of the penalty box.

He quickly comes under pressure from defender Jairo Izquierdo, with Alfonso Espino sprinting towards the ball.

But the Belgian drags the ball back to take it away from the full back before quickly flicking it to the right past the Cadiz player behind him.

This leaves the 25-year-old with just the goalkeeper to face – but his driven shot finds the side-netting.

While he missed the target, Januzaj does put in the cross in for Alexander Isak to nod to the back of the net.

This footage was shared on La Liga’s Twitter channel, where it has been viewed more than 25,000 times in three hours.

And the United faithful sent a clear message to the forward after his skills show.

“Come back home to United,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “Come back home – you’re missed.”

While a third added: “He’s still missed.”

United needed Bruno Fernandes’ penalty against West Brom to secure their first Premier League win of the season at Old Trafford.

And the Portuguese midfielder revealed what he said to his team-mates before taking the spot kick.
