Will they, won’t they? Are they, aren’t they? Listen I had the day off yesterday – so I managed to avoid this whirlwind rumour of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba being injured.
It all sounds like nonsense to me. We’ll find out what is actually happening in just a couple of minutes.
Hello everyone and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Manchester United vs Bournemouth from Old Trafford.
So… this should be a formality for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, right?
The Red Devils are enjoying a 15-match unbeaten run in all competitions and have been playing some vintage stuff.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, have suffered 16 defeats in 21 league matches, including each of the last four.
On paper it’s a done deal – but football isn’t played on paper, eh? Hate myself for that cliched line. Standby for team news…
Manchester United could make changes for today’s visit of relegation-threatened Bournemouth.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted he could make a few change when telling reporters: “I’ve got to wait and see,” Solskjaer said. “There are a couple that got some knocks and bruises, if there are a couple of changes don’t be surprised just because of fitness.
“But there are also so many games. I’ve got to look after the players.
“It would be nice to play a team that performed so well against Sheffield United at Old Trafford last time and played so well against Brighton, but let’s wait and see how everyone is after training, I’ve not seen them yet this morning.
“I’ve got many many reasons to play the same team but I’ve also got a few reasons to rotate one or two that played so well earlier in the season.”
Leading goalscorer Callum Wilson remains unavailable as he completes a two-match suspension.
