Manchester United are looking at several options at left-back which spells bad news for the likes of Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams.
The Red Devils have made one signing in the shape of Donny van de Beek after a move worth up to £40m from Ajax.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not done yet and wants to bolster his defence, with a new left-back in mind.
He has been left largely frustrated by the club's transfer stance so far, which has moved too slowly for his liking.
That was shown by the manner in which he hastened Van de Beek talks by personally contacting the Dutchman to hurry it up.
United have been linked with a number of full-backs already this summer.
Prior to his £50m move to Chelsea, Ben Chilwell was at the forefront of their objectives in defence.
However, the England international chose to join the Blues but the Red Devils have more targets in mind.
The latest is Porto star Alex Telles, with reports in Portugal revealing his representatives flew to Manchester this weekend to arrange talks.

With his contract expiring next summer, the Dragons are happy to sell the defender but only for a hefty profit on the £6m they paid for his services.
According to A Bola, that price stands at £26m and that spells bad news for Shaw and Williams.
Solskjaer toyed with both defenders over the course of the season but the impending arrival of Telles leaves both staring at uncertain futures.
Williams would most likely be loaned out while Shaw would either fight for his spot in the first-team or leave on a permanent basis.
