Manchester United begin their 2020-21 campaign a week later than most by welcoming Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace to Old Trafford.

They join the action against Palace on September 19 after their original opening fixture against Burnley on September 12 was postponed following their commitments in the Europa League in Germany.

The Red Devils then find themselves up against Graham Potter’s Brighton on the south coast in their second outing and are then tasked with a huge October of fixtures.

Manchester United welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford for their first game of the campaign

An early meeting against former manager Jose Mourinho has been arranged for October 3, with United set to travel to Tottenham for their third game of the season.

After that follows a trip up to Newcastle on October 10, before meeting Chelsea and Arsenal in consecutive weeks at home.

The first Manchester derby of the season is penciled in to arrive on December 12, when Solskjaer’s men welcome Pep Guardiola and City to Old Trafford.

United refresh an old rivalry in December, when they come up against newly promoted Leeds United on Saturday 19. While a headline clash against Jurgen Klopp’s defending champions Liverpool arrives on January 16.

Due to United beginning the campaign with a slight delay, a proposed game against Burnley at Turf Moor, which would have started the season, will now be rescheduled for a later date.
