Raiola branded the rumours of a £6m-per-season deal as ‘Fake News’ on Twitter
Whilst Milan look to be the front runners to re-sign the 38-year-old, who scored 10 goals and got five assists in half a season for them, they are still yet to iron out the details of a new deal.
Raiola squad all rumours by sharing an image of Ibrahimovic with the accompanying caption: ‘Fake News! Ibrahimovic has NOT renewed his contract with AC Milan’.
AC Milan are, however, interested in re-signing the 38-year-old on a one year deal
Ibrahimovic has been absent from the Rossoneri’s pre-season training under coach Stefano Pioli.
Pioli is said to be keen on re-signing the striker, who joined the Serie A side back in December 2019 on a free transfer.
The club are looking to seal Ibrahimovic’s signature on a one-year deal according to Sky Sport Italia.
