Manchester United will eye a move for Allan Saint-Maximin should he "rip them to pieces" when they take on Newcastle, claims Toon legend Malcom Macdonald.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will be looking to respond against the Magpies when the Premier League resumes later this month.
United shipped six againat Tottenham and their heavily criticised defence will now be tasked with stopping Saint-Maximin.
The Frenchman has been Newcastle's prime attacking weapon and will again be called upon to make things happen in the final third.
United failed to sign Jadon Sancho and could see Saint-Maximin as an alternative according to the former Magpie.
