Richarlison has admitted he still has plenty to learn if he wants to develop into a world class player, but claims there are not many better to learn from than Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Richarlison is going from strength to strength under Ancelotti at Goodison Park and has played a key role in Everton’s perfect start to the new Premier League campaign.

And the forward, speaking following Brazil’s 4-2 victory over Peru in which he scored once, admits he is trying to take on board as much as he can from veteran Ancelotti, who has ‘won it all’ down the years.

The 23-year-old told reporters: ‘I am learning every day there, especially under coach Ancelotti who works extensively on tactics. 

‘And it’s not different from the national team. When I come here, I try to gather as much information as I can so, whenever I play a game, I can give my best to my team.

‘I believe that I will continue to learn as days go by. The Premier League evolves a player. 

‘I try to gather as much information as I can from Ancelotti, someone who’s won it all. I still think I have a lot to evolve.’ 

Richarlison has enjoyed a fine start to the new season alongside his Toffees team-mates

Everton seemed to have matured under Ancelotti’s tutelage and that has shown during their rapid start to the new campaign, winning their first four Premier League fixtures.

And Richarlison is just one of many shining at Goodison Park, scoring once and creating two assists during the first four matches, while netting three times in the Carabao Cup.

Richarlison will be desperate to continue his impressive form this Saturday afternoon when Everton host rivals Liverpool in a crunch Merseyside derby.
