Thiago’s wife Julia Vigas is delighted to be in Liverpool with her young family.
The 29-year-old midfielder looked at home with his new team-mates in the second-half of their win over Chelsea on Sunday, and his partner has now shared her delight at their new adventure on social media.
The former Barcelona star joined the Premier League champions in a deal worth less than £30m after entering the final year of his contract in Germany, and the early signs are very promising.
Not only did he break a record with 75 successful passes in just 45 minutes, but has has also earned plaudits from his wife as they settle into life on Merseyside.
She wrote on Instagram at the weekend: ”So happy to start this adventure with you and our kids.
Before adding: “Very proud of you! We LOVE you papi.”
The couple, who are both from Barcelona, married back in 2015 and have a young son called Gabriel and also a six-month-old daughter named Siena.
Julia has over 120,000 followers on her Instagram, and is likely to update them on her new life as Thiago attempts to add Premier League to Bundesliga and La Liga glory.
Klopp said of his star signing: "It's pretty simple, he is – and nobody would see it in a different way – an absolutely exceptional player.
"It's difficult, and we said that last year like we said it this year, to improve a team like us at the moment in a normal way.
"Again, it is nothing with other teams, but if you take £300 or £400 million, then we can find some players [to improve], but even then it is not easy.
"In this specific case, he is a [Liverpool] player because he brings in a different dimension in our game, that is true.

"He has some skills that are in general pretty rare, but they suit us pretty well. So it doesn't mean it says anything about the other players, it is only different and of course that is what I was very interested in.
"But apart from that, he was pretty excited about the opportunity as well so there was not a lot of convincing needed and that helps as well if someone really wants to be part of a specific project, that's nice.
"So all the things came pretty much together and that is what I would say is a win-win situation and I am really happy we could do it."
