West Ham are interested in signing one of Marko Grujic or Ruben-Loftus Cheek, before the window closes on Monday night. The Hammers’ fine start to the season continued on Sunday, as they thumped Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power.
Coming off the back of a 4-0 thrashing off Wolves, Dayid Moyes’ side, under the pitchside guidance Alan Irvine, ran rampant in the Midlands with a stunning display.
Leicester came into the game with a 100 per cent record and just a week after putting Manchester City to the sword.
But for the second time in a week, the Hammers were too strong and too good for the opponents, with Michail Antonio, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen all scoring.
It means they find themselves in seventh place after four games, but could look to improve even further before the window closes.

Declan Rice has been linked with an exit for much of the summer, but they look set to fend off interest from Chelsea to keep hold of their star asset.
Elsewhere, they are believed to be in the market for a central defender and a central midfielder in the final hours.
Asked about potential arrivals after the Foxes win, Irvine said: “I don’t know. I’ve said it many times, I really don’t know. It is not something I have been involved in.”
On signing a defender he added: “We certainly can. It’s not that we don’t have good defenders, we would be extremely light. We certainly do but, howver, as you can see, the lads we have at the moment can do avery good job.”

But according to MailSport, they are also in the market for Liverpool’s Grujic. The 24-year-old has spent the last two seasons out on loan and looks surplus to requirements at Anfield.
He could be available for another loan deal, with West Ham and Southampton both monitoring his situation.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Loftus-Cheek is also a target for both clubs, with Frank Lampard ready to sanction a move.
“With every player in the squad, with the situation of a loan you have to consider what’s best for the player, what’s best for the club first and foremost. And then see how it stacks up,” Lampard said.

“Once the window shuts every player that will be here will be used within our squad, because it’s a long season and a lot of competitions coming up.
“And we’ll know more on Monday.”
The Sun have suggested that Chelsea are ready to pay a portion of his wages in order to get a deal done.
Southampton would only be able to consider a move if that was the case, while West Ham could be more willing to strike a deal.
