Zenit St Petersburg are willing to offer around £9million for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.
The centre back has been earmarked as a potential replacement for Branislav Ivanovic and is understood to be open to the move with the prospect of playing first team football more regularly.
The 31-year old has one year left on contract though Liverpool have indicated they will take up their option to extend that by another year if he remains with them at the end of the summer.

Lovren has extensively been used as cover for Joe Gomez and Joel Matip over the past two seasons as both have had injuries and has made 15 appearances this campaign.
While Liverpool have young prospects coming through, they may look to add another defender should Lovren depart.
For that reason Zenit’s offer would likely be rejected. Liverpool rejected an offer of around £13m from Roma last summer and would likely still demand around £15m for the Croatia international.
